Benca for Children Foundation
So that the children who are so often overlooked can defend themselves too. Martial arts teach persistence, discipline and calm. The Benca Ju-jitsu club already works with children's homes and covers fees for socially disadvantaged kids. The foundation builds on that work.
Who the foundation helps
Children and young people who find themselves in a difficult life situation for social, health, family or other serious reasons. It helps them towards decent conditions for life, education and their sporting, cultural and personal development. In particular:
- children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds,
- children with a disability or serious illness,
- children at risk of social exclusion,
- children growing up without one or both parents.
What the club already does
Children from children's homes
We work with children's homes and the social sector - self-defence, bullying prevention and the steady discipline of training for the kids who need it most.
Fees and equipment
Club donations cover membership fees for socially disadvantaged members, sports equipment, camps and events for children and youth.
Darujeme kroužky dětem
We are linked with Darujeme kroužky dětem, a Czech organisation that helps families pay for children's regular activities.
